With «Alma Mater» Rodrigo Leão managed to integrate in his music some of the pop sensibility that he had already explored in the past and as a result he had to deal with a larger scale success. And for that to happen songs like «A Casa», sung by Adriana Calcanhoto, and «Pasion», with a great interpretation by Lula Pena, turned out to be very important. «Pasión» is still part of Rodrigo’s live sets to this day. With this álbum, Rodrigo proved that he does not fear to explore new paths and that his music has many different dimensions to it that allow him to illustrate different moods and soul states. The critics and the public both aplauded this will to innovate.
