\nRodrigo Le\u00e3o has just released \u2018J\u00e1 Sabia\u2019, the third single that previews the arrival of his new album, \u2018O Rapaz da Montanha\u2019, scheduled for release on 25 April by Galileo Music. Music composed by Rodrigo Le\u00e3o himself and lyrics by Ana Carolina Costa, \u2018J\u00e1 Sabia\u2019 is a deep and intimate song, exploring the personal strength found in learning to say \u2018no\u2019 and move on.<\/p>\n

In this single, Rodrigo Le\u00e3o takes on the vocals, synthesiser and bass, and is joined by an outstanding artistic cast, including Ana Vieira, Sofia Le\u00e3o, Pedro Oliveira and Ana Carolina Costa on vocals, Jos\u00e9 Peixoto on classical guitar, Celina da Piedade on accordion, Viviena Tupikova on violin, Bruno Silva on viola, Carlos Tony Gomes on cello and Frederico Gracias on drums and percussion. \u2018J\u00e1 Sabia\u2019 reflects the musical and lyrical depth that characterises \u201cO Rapaz da Montanha\u201d, a work that Rodrigo describes as the most Portuguese album of his career, standing out for the collective sound of the choirs and the marked presence of the percussion. This work is presented not as a rupture, but as a natural evolution that is coherent with the composer’s career, always keeping alive the musical identity that defines his career.<\/p>\n

\u2018O Rapaz da Montanha\u2019 is a work produced in partnership with Rodrigo Le\u00e3o, Jo\u00e3o Eleut\u00e9rio and Pedro Oliveira, and features special collaborations ranging from established artists to new talents, including close family members of the composer. Among the outstanding collaborations is the immediately previous single, \u2018Andava Eu\u2019, with the special participation of Francisco Palma.<\/p>\n

\u2018J\u00e1 Sabia\u2019 is already available on digital platforms, reinforcing the emotional depth and musical innovation that Rodrigo Le\u00e3o has been revealing on this long-awaited album. Even before the album’s official release, Rodrigo Le\u00e3o has been showcasing this work live, with sold-out concerts in Lisbon on 28 and 29 January at the Centro Cultural de Bel\u00e9m, and will also be in Porto on 29 March at the Casa da M\u00fasica, providing yet another opportunity to experience this new work in advance.<\/p>\n

Rodrigo Le\u00e3o thus continues to assert himself as one of the most relevant and inspiring composers of our time, offering audiences works that transcend borders and deeply mark those who listen to them.
